The foundation of any good violin shop is its workshop. John Simmers has extensive experience and training in violin repair and restoration. He trained at the Newark School of Violin Making and has over 30 years experience in the trade. John is frequently invited to attend workshops and professional development programmes in Australia, the United States and Europe.
Please be advised that we have a minimum fee of $220 for any repair or consultation. We will always endeavour to provide customers with an estimate for any work performed, but the final invoice will be based on the time taken to perform the repair or restoration.
