It has been made to be easy to play and has a neck and fingerboard that closely follow the dimensions of a full size violin. This viola is made from John’s own template and measurements. The maple was milled in January 1995.

The KG100 is our popular student viola outfit. Chosen for its amazing quality for its price, we believe this is the minimum quality that students of all levels deserve. The quality of this instrument allows us to perform a detailed setup which is included in the price. We fit KG100 violas with Pirastro Obligato strings. A bow and case are included. KG100 viola outfits are available from 15″ to 16 1/2″. As it is usually a student’s first viola, we carry the 15″ viola, and other sizes are available on request. Don’t let your students play on a toy viola, start them off with a real instrument.
